Ladies and gentlemen, tonight we travel to Victorian London, where the fog is thick, the gentlemen are discreet, and the Queen has a rather delicate problem.

A photograph. A woman. And a secret that could threaten the reputation of the future King of England.

Enter Sherlock Holmes: the world’s most celebrated consulting detective, a man who can deduce your breakfast from the crumbs on your waistcoat—but may have finally met a woman who can outwit him.

In A Scandal in Bohemia, Sir Arthur Conan Doyle gives us blackmail, disguises, royal embarrassment, and a battle of wits in which the great detective discovers that not every mystery ends with Holmes having the last word.

Tonight, the game is afoot. And the woman holding the winning card is Irene Adler.
